Two of the four Americans kidnapped in <a class="Link" href="https://www.washingtonexaminer.com/tag/mexico" target="_blank">Mexico</a> were found dead, after they went missing last week, Mexican President Andrés Manuel López Obrador <a class="Link" href="https://abcnews.go.com/International/2-americans-kidnapped-mexico-found-dead-2-found/story?id=97681554&amp;cid=social_twitter_abcn" target="_blank">said</a>.

The American citizens had <a class="Link" href="https://www.washingtonexaminer.com/news/crime/us-citizens-kidnapped-mexico-identified-traveling-medical-procedure" target="_blank">crossed into Matamoros</a> in a white minivan with North Carolina plates. Shortly after entering Mexico, unidentified gunmen shot at the passengers of the vehicle and took them into another car, fleeing the scene.
