Tucker Carlson is set to make his first public appearance since he was relieved of his hosting duties at Fox News.
Carlson is scheduled to speak at a sold-out fundraiser event Thursday in Oxford, Alabama.

The event will raise funds for Rainbow Omega, an organization that offers adults with developmental disabilities “a permanent and safe home where their abilities and potentials are respected and nurtured in a Christian environment,” according to the organization’s website.
It is not clear whether Carlson will address his sudden departure from Fox News during the fundraiser.
Fox News announced it had parted ways with Carlson on April 24. Since Carlson’s leaving, the network has suffered a decline in its key prime-time viewing audience.
In contrast, Carlson has appeared unfazed by the split from Fox. Footage of Carlson driving a golf cart with his wife, Susan Andrews, in Florida emerged a few days after his departure from the network.
