Tucker Carlson dedicated the second episode of his Twitter show to what he called "the greatest taboo of all," child molestation.
The theme of the show was born out of the recent reporting about a network of child pornography distributors using Instagram. Its parent company Meta acknowledged flaws within its anti-child pornography enforcement operation and said it was creating an internal task force to look into these networks. Carlson claimed the aftermath is evidence that pedophilia "is teetering on the edge of acceptability."

"It was all pretty shocking but not as shocking as what happened next, which was effectively nothing at all," Carlson said.

Carlson used the story of Kyle Rittenhouse as another example of pedophilia becoming less of a taboo in society today.
He pointed out that one of Rittenhouse's victims was Joseph Rosenbaum, who was a convicted child molester. During the Rittenhouse trial, the judge involved rejected elements of Rittenhouse's defense attorneys' evidence having to do with the criminal background of Rosenbaum, who had an adult female fiance at the time of his death named Kariann Swart.
According to Carlson, the media made Rosenbaum out to be the victim instead of the villain.
"One of the things that this tells us is that people who run our country no longer see child molesters as the worst among us," Carlson said. He went on to point out that the head of Instagram, Adam Mosseri, remains in his position, the Department of Justice has not launched a public investigation, and President Joe Biden claimed that white supremacy is the "greatest danger" to the nation.
