Adult film actress Stormy Daniels is expected to testify at the New York criminal hush money trial against former President Donald Trump on Tuesday, according to her attorney.

Trump has been charged with falsifying business records in 2016 to cover up hush money payments to Daniels, who contends she had a sexual encounter with Trump in 2006. Trump has pleaded not guilty to 34 counts and denies the affair with Daniels ever occurred.

Daniels’s testimony comes after former Trump Organization officials testified Monday about how ex-Trump lawyer Michael Cohen was reimbursed for the $130,000 payment to Daniels.

Trump is also facing a gag order in the case that prevents him from discussing witnesses or members of the jury. He has been fined $10,000 for 10 separate violations of the order and was warned by presiding Judge Juan Merchan on Monday that jail time could be his punishment if he violates the order again.

Earlier on Tuesday, Trump complained about a witness on social media without stating who it was before deleting the post, a sign that the former president is trying to be careful with his words as the trial progresses, according to NBC News.

Prosecutors are expected to finish presenting witness testimony by the week of May 22, and they still have yet to bring up their star witness, Cohen.
