President Donald Trump was spotted Tuesday morning on the White House roof for a roughly 20-minute walking tour.
Trump and a small group of men, including architect James McCrery, walked around the briefing room’s roof and looked down at the Rose Garden and across the South Lawn, which is the planned site of a new ballroom that is being built. They then took several shouted questions from the gathered group of reporters on the White House driveway.

The president said he was “taking a little walk” when asked by the reporters what he was doing and that he was looking for “more ways to spend my money.”

“It’s just another way to spend my money for the country,” Trump added about the renovations.
“Anything I do is financed by me,” Trump added. “Just like my salary is contributed, but nobody ever mentions that.”
