Comedian Roseanne Barr will join former President Donald Trump at a rally in Boone, Iowa, less than one week before the state's Republican caucuses.
Barr has campaigned for Trump in the past, including with a speech she delivered in Florida in November in which she proclaimed Trump the "MAGA-dor-in-Chief" targeting "deep state bull."

Trump's campaign announced the Jan. 9, 2024, Iowa event Friday afternoon. Former acting attorney general Matt Whitaker also will deliver remarks ahead of Barr and Trump. Iowa's GOP caucuses are scheduled for Jan. 15.
In an interview with Real America's Voice just after the Florida Trump rally, Barr referred to Trump as a "mother bear."
"A dad bear, they'll go out and kill all the others," Barr said. "That's one thing, and it's cool. But Trump wraps his arms around us."
Barr said Trump was the only candidate "with balls" and proposed the following to "fix him": "Laugh a little more. Have a little more fun and try to relax a little bit. More than you do. And you know, pray a little bit more. Feel the love of the people a little bit more."
