President Donald Trump claimed on Tuesday that Chinese President Xi Jinping is conspiring against the United States as the foreign leader appeared alongside Russian President Vladimir Putin and North Korean leader Kim Jong Un during China’s military parade marking the end of World War II.

“Please give my warmest regards to Vladimir Putin, and Kim Jong Un, as you conspire against The United States of America,” Trump wrote on Truth Social on Tuesday night. He did not elaborate on what the alleged conspiracy entailed.

Trump also urged Xi to recognize the “massive” role that the U.S. played in liberating China from Japanese occupation in 1945.

“The big question to be answered is whether or not President Xi of China will mention the massive amount of support and ‘blood’ that The United States of America gave to China in order to help it to secure its FREEDOM from a very unfriendly foreign invader,” he said.

“Many Americans died in China’s quest for Victory and Glory. I hope that they are rightfully Honored and Remembered for their Bravery and Sacrifice! May President Xi and the wonderful people of China have a great and lasting day of celebration,” Trump added.

During the parade, Xi praised the “huge national sacrifice” that the Chinese people made in fighting Japan during World War II and said China “is never intimidated by any bullies.” He suggested those lessons extend to today’s world.

“Chinese people rallied together to defy the enemy,” Xi said. “Today, humanity again has to choose between peace and war.”

Putin and Kim were among more than 20 world leaders in attendance for China’s military parade commemorating the 80th anniversary of the end of World War II. The two were seen together with Xi during the procession in Tiananmen Square.

The parade displayed large numbers of Chinese troops and military equipment, ranging from tanks and drones to long-range and nuclear ballistic missiles.

TRUMP SAYS US ‘HONORED’ TO HOST CHINESE STUDENTS

Trump’s message for Xi comes after the U.S. agreed to admit up to 600,000 Chinese college students as part of a trade deal with China. Trump has repeatedly defended the decision after it generated backlash from national security-minded conservatives.

The move represented a shift from the administration’s previous stance on Chinese students visas, which Secretary of State Marco Rubio said he planned to “aggressively” revoke and especially concentrate on those “with connections to the Chinese Communist Party or studying in critical fields.”
