


Former President Donald Trump said he thinks some of his fellow GOP presidential candidates are "good potential cabinet members" should he win the 2024 election.
Trump said in a Sunday interview with Fox News's Maria Bartiromo that he "possibly" saw a potential running mate for vice president, as well.

"You have some very talented people. I've been impressed with some of them. A number of them called me up, not for permission, but sort of, to say they'd like to do it," Trump said. "I think you have good people, good potential cabinet members."
A Real Clear Politics analysis of recent polls shows Trump leading in all of them, with an RCP average of 53%. Gov. Ron DeSantis polls at 20.6%.

All other GOP candidates, such as former vice president Mike Pence, former South Carolina Gov. Nikki Haley, Sen. Tim Scott (R-SC), and entrepreneur Vivek Ramaswamy, poll at single digits in most polls and have yet to break into double digits.
