Former President Donald Trump said any Jew who votes for President Joe Biden doesn’t “love Israel,” again pushing his past comments on Jewish Americans on Monday.
During his interview with Real America’s Voice, Trump claimed Jews vote for Democrats “by habit” and that Democrats don’t want to talk about Hamas’s attack on Israel because of Biden. He also said Jews who vote for Democrats “should be spoken to.”
“Any Jewish person that votes for Biden does not love Israel and frankly should be spoken to,” Trump said.
As Biden faces large criticism from the far Left over his partnership with Israel during the Israel-Hamas war, Trump said Biden is “totally on the side of Palestinians.”
“Jewish people, by habit, they vote for the Democrat, and black people by habit vote for the Democrats,” he added.
In response, the Biden campaign said, “Trump appears to threaten Jewish Americans who vote against him.”
During the interview, he also noted his record on Israel when he was president. He recalled his decision to move the U.S. Embassy in Israel from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem, recognizing Jerusalem as the capital of the country, which was seen as controversial because the international community recognizes the West Bank and East Jerusalem as “occupied territory.”
His remarks echo previous claims that Jews who vote for Biden “hate” Israel and “their religion,” which many have condemned as antisemitic.
“Any Jewish person that votes for Democrats hates their religion,” Trump has said. “They hate everything about Israel, and they should be ashamed of themselves because Israel will be destroyed.”
“That escalation of rhetoric is so dangerous, so divisive, and so wrong,” said Rabbi Richard Jacobs, president of the Union for Reform Judaism, the largest U.S. Jewish religious denomination. “This is a moment when Israel needs there to be more bipartisan support.”
In September, during the Jewish holiday of Rosh Hashanah, Trump accused Jews who vote for Democrats of “destroying America and Israel.”

“Just a quick reminder for liberal Jews who voted to destroy America & Israel because you believed false narratives! Let’s hope you learned from your mistake & make better choices moving forward!” Trump posted. “Happy New Year!”
Statistically, secular Jews are more likely to vote for Democrats, while conservative or more religious Jews are more likely to vote for Republicans.
