President Donald Trump confirmed Tuesday morning the Israel-Iran ceasefire “is in effect,” after earlier airing grievances about both countries violating the agreement with attacks overnight.
“ISRAEL is not going to attack Iran. All planes will turn around and head home, while doing a friendly ‘Plane Wave’ to Iran,” Trump wrote. “Nobody will be hurt, the Ceasefire is in effect! Thank you for your attention to this matter! DONALD J. TRUMP, PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES”

Trump brokered and announced the ceasefire ending what he has called “the twelve-day war” between the two countries on Monday evening. Iran and Israel continued to lob missiles at each other in the hours leading up to the ceasefire’s implementation.
The president said Tuesday morning that both countries had violated the terms of the agreement reached the prior day and specifically targeted Israel for its actions.
“They violated it but Israel violated it too,” Trump said, adding,” I’m not happy with Israel.”
“I didn’t like the fact that Israel unloaded right after we made the deal…They didn’t have to unload,” he continued. “We basically have two countries that have been fighting so long and so hard that they don’t know what the f*** they’re doing.”
In a post to Truth Social shortly before 7:00 am, the president urged Israel: “Do not drop those bombs.”
“IF YOU DO IT IS A MAJOR VIOLATION. BRING YOUR PILOTS HOME, NOW!” he warned.
