Fresh off his first blockbuster 2024 rally of the year, former President Donald Trump insisted he was unfazed by the possible indictment against him after railing against it during his speech.

“I’m not frustrated by it. It’s a fake investigation. We did nothing wrong — I told you that,” Trump told an NBC reporter at a gaggle before scolding him. “This is fake news, and NBC is one of the worst. Don’t ask me any more questions.”

Over recent days, Trump has unleashed multiple tirades against Manhattan District Attorney General Alvin Bragg amid chatter that this office may bring forth an indictment over the alleged hush money payment made to adult film star Stormy Daniels, also known as Stephanie Clifford, in 2016.

On Friday, Trump warned an indictment could usher in "potential death and destruction." Later that day, Bragg's office reportedly received a letter with white power and the words, "ALVIN: I AM GOING TO KILL YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!.” It was later determined the power wasn't lethal, per NBC.

“I don’t like violence, and I’m not for violence,” Trump added during the gaggle, which featured four reporters on his return flight from Waco, Texas.

During his first 2024 blockbuster campaign rally of the year in Waco, Texas, Trump denied the accusations against him and lashed out at the "rigged" investigation by Bragg.

Reports indicate that Bragg is weighing possible charges against Trump over the alleged falsification of business documents detailing a reimbursement scheme for a $130,000 hush money payment his former lawyer Michael Cohen claims to have made to Daniels in 2016 to keep quiet about an alleged affair a decade prior. Trump has denied wrongdoing on all accounts.

“I have no idea what’s going to happen," Trump conceded to reporters. “They’ve already dropped the case, from what I understand,” he added without providing evidence.
