Former President Donald Trump and former Vice President Mike Pence are poised to headline a National Rifle Association conference in Indianapolis next month.

They will be joined by a melange of Republicans, including Gov. Eric Holcomb (R-IN), Rep. Jim Jordan (R-OH), Gov. Chris Sununu (R-NH), Gov. Kristi Noem (R-SD), former Gov. Asa Hutchinson (R-AK), and more. The three-day "leadership forum" will start on April 14 at the Indiana Convention Center, per the NRA.

WHITE HOUSE TELLS GOP TO 'LOOK IN THE MIRROR' AFTER NASHVILLE SHOOTING

Sen. Mike Braun (R-IN) and NRA Vice President Wayne LaPierre are also set to deliver a speech. Pence previously served as the governor of the Hoosier State from 2013 to 2017.

Trump and Pence's speeches are set to mark the second time they have shared the stage at an NRA convention in Indianapolis. The event is also poised to be the third time within the past two decades that the city has been home to the leadership forum.

Once White House allies, Pence and Trump have splintered publicly since their departure. Pence has teased that "we'll have better choices" in the 2024 election than Trump, who has slammed him sporadically for declining to decertify the 2020 election. Pence was adamant that he lacked the powers to upend the election.

The forum comes in the wake of the deadly Nashville shooting at Covenant School. Three students, three adults, and the suspected shooter died in the shooting.

Democrats, particularly President Joe Biden, have implored Republicans in Congress to back stricter gun control measures in the aftermath of the shooting, but the GOP has shown little appetite for more stringent regulations.

"A well regulated militia, being necessary to the security of a free state, the right of the people to keep and bear arms, SHALL NOT BE INFRINGED," the NRA recently tweeted.

Some of the marquee speakers are speculated 2024 aspirants, including Pence, Hutchinson, and Sununu. Trump has already declared his campaign, and the others have mostly indicated a decision will come down within the coming weeks.

Given Trump's presence, the Secret Service will "control security within Hall A of the Indiana Convention Center," according to the NRA.
