Former President Donald Trump responded to a question about President Joe Biden being "too old" to run for reelection in 2024 on Wednesday, agreeing with criticism of his age, despite being just a few years younger.
Biden is 80 years old and would be 86 at the end of another term.

"Look, anything’s possible, but when I watch — his body is shot, and his mind is worse," Trump, 77, said of Biden continuing his campaign for reelection.
In an interview with radio host Hugh Hewitt, Trump added, "And yet, he seems to want to do it. And I hope he does it. But he seems to want to do it.
"But you take a look at him, and he’s not running the government," he claimed. "People that are surrounding him, who are very smart fascists and communists, those are the people running our country."
Trump is just three years younger than Biden but Americans are significantly less concerned about his age than Biden's. However, the majority of Americans believe that both men are too old to effectively serve another four-year term as president.
In a new poll, 77% said Biden couldn't effectively serve as president again, including 69% of Democrats. As for Trump, 51% agreed, but only 28% of Republicans.

Despite concerns over both Biden and Trump's ages, both men are leading in their respective primary races. This, in part, has prompted the centrist No Labels Party to explore the possibility of nominating a presidential candidate. According to the party, it is preparing to select a nominee "in the event both major parties nominate presidential candidates that the vast majority of Americans don’t want."
So far, the party is on ballots in 10 states.
