After two days of deliberations, the jury sitting on the New York hush money trial found former President Donald Trump guilty on all 34 counts of falsifying business records.

For those closest to the former president and his campaign, the jury’s conviction will likely be used as a tool to help engage with voters.

“Guilty on all counts,” Donald Trump Jr. posted on X. “The Democrats have succeeded in their years long attempt to turn America into a third-world s***hole. November 5 is our last chance to save it.”

Donald Trump Jr. called the verdict “such bulls***” and noted that the sentencing is just four days before the GOP convention.

“They’re not even trying to hide the ELECTION INTERFERENCE!!!!” he posted on X.

Rudy Giuliani, former Trump lawyer and co-defendant in the Arizona 2020 election interference case, called the verdict a “political prosecution” with the sole purpose of “rigging the 2024 election” in a livestream on X.

“These are the kind of verdicts that occur in dictatorships and third world and banana republic governments, not in countries or democracies ruled by law,” Giuliani said. “The law had nothing to do with this case.”

Giuliani noted that the jury was told that it could disregard the precedent set for 800 years and agree on a partial verdict to convict.

Guilani is not the only one to reference the banana republic. Political commentator and longtime Trump supporter Candace Owens said the level of corruption that plagues politically unstable South American countries is the same for the United States.

“Nothing is legitimate — not the media, our elections, or the courts,” Owens said on X.

Talk show host Charlie Kirk said he is even more emboldened to rally behind Trump given the guilty conviction.

“I support Trump MORE after this crap,” Kirk said on X. “We must win.”

Arizona Senate hopeful Kari Lake called the verdict “legal tyranny” that will be rejected by voters come Election Day.

“This is a non-crime that a Soros-backed DA conjured out of thin air and placed in front of a highly conflicted Democrat judge, all in an effort to imprison Joe Biden’s political opponent,” she posted.

Vivek Ramaswamy, who is allegedly being considered by Trump for a Cabinet position if elected, said, “This will backfire.”

“The prosecutor is a politician who promised to nail Trump,” Ramaswamy said on X. “The judge’s daughter is a Democrat operative who literally raised $$ from the trial while her father presided over it. The jury instructions said they didn’t have to agree on the crime to convict.”

Tulsi Gabbard, a former U.S. representative, 2020 presidential candidate, and possible vice president contender for Trump, posted on X that the Biden administration’s role in the trial should not be overlooked.

“Biden: GUILTY of abuse of power,” she said. “Biden: GUILTY of turning our country into a banana republic where those in power use the law to go after their political opponents. Biden: GUILTY of undermining our Constitution and the freedoms guaranteed therein. Biden has proven he is unfit for the office of the presidency.”
