Jenna Ellis, an ex-attorney for former President Donald Trump who is accused of playing a prominent role in an attempt to subvert the 2020 election results in Georgia, had her bond set Tuesday in Fulton County ahead of her expected surrender to authorities.

Ellis, a lawyer who is an advisory fellow in constitutional law and policy at the Centennial Institute at Colorado Christian University, faces two charges that include racketeering and asking a public official to violate their oath as part of an effort to convince Georgia officials to appoint new electors for Trump, according to the indictment.

Ellis's bond was set at $100,000.

A reporter with a local news outlet captured a photo of Ellis's attorneys leaving the jail Tuesday afternoon, though no jail record was posted on Fulton County's online record search as of 2:45 p.m. local time, indicating Ellis has not yet been booked at the Atlanta-based jail.

Mike Roman, another defendant who was a Philadelphia Republican campaign operative that served as director of Election Day operations for Trump’s 2020 reelection campaign, had a bond set at $50,000 at about the same time as Ellis at 2:30 p.m. local time. He was charged in the sweeping racketeering indictment with seven counts, including conspiracies to commit forgery, to impersonate a public officer, to commit false statements, and to file false documents.

So far, defendants John Eastman and Scott Hall have been booked at the Fulton County Jail and were permitted to leave earlier on Tuesday, meaning 17 defendants, including Trump, still face an Aug. 25 deadline to turn themselves in to officials.

An attorney for Eastman told CNN that his client "did get a mugshot and was fingerprinted” and added that the process took roughly 1 hour and 15 minutes.
