Former President Donald Trump might be handcuffed by new rules on the debate stage, but his team is ready to exploit the opening created by two commercial breaks during the prime-time event.

The two Trump team ads will focus on President Joe Biden’s shortcomings during his time in office and insinuate that he lacks the cognitive ability to make it through a second term.

One ad, titled “Who’s Laughing Now,” shows images of Biden falling on the stairs of Air Force One, toppling over his bike, and appearing lost on stage.

TRUMP AND BIDEN DUKE IT OUT WITH VIRAL ADS AHEAD OF DEBATE

“Do you think the guy who was defeated by the stairs … got taken down by his bike … lost a fight with his jacket … and regularly gets lost … makes it four more years in the White House?”, a narrator says.

Another ad, titled “Promises,” asks viewers to reflect on whether they are more financially and physically secure since Biden became president. The ad targets voters’ pressure points with reminders about the migrant crisis along the southern border, record-high and rising inflation, and the United States’s withdrawal from Afghanistan.

“After four years of failure under Joe Biden, it’s time to make America prosperous and strong again,” a narrator says.

These are not the only ads that will be shown during the commercial breaks painting Biden in a negative light. Rep. Wesley Hunt’s (R-TX) super Hellfire PAC will be running an ad pointing out Biden’s questionable remarks about black people.

According to Semafor, CNN was asking advertisers for a million or more dollars for ad space during the debate.

Meanwhile, the Biden campaign is planning a seven-figure paid multimedia campaign, including digital ads on social media platforms, billboards, and digital ad takeovers of eight news sites.

“Today’s show of force in Atlanta and across the battlegrounds emphasizes the two contrasting visions the American people will see on the debate stage tonight: Between President Biden fighting for the American people and Donald Trump, whose campaign is focused on benefitting one person only: Himself,” Kevin Munoz, Biden campaign spokesman, said in a statement.

The debate, moderated by Jake Tapper and Dana Bash, is the first time in decades that a presidential debate is not being organized by the Commission on Presidential Debates.
