Former President and presumptive Republican nominee Donald Trump stopped by a Chick-fil-A restaurant in Atlanta, Georgia, where he handed out sandwiches and milkshakes to customers.
Video of Trump entering the restaurant showed him passing the food and drinks to those crowded around him. A couple of people also appeared to be standing on chairs to record the event.
“So can I have 30 milkshakes, and also some chicken?” Trump was heard asking the cashier. “I’m going to take care of the customers.”
After ordering, Trump was approached by a reporter who told him that Chick-fil-A is a great American franchise, to which the former president agreed, calling the store owner “a great man” and a member of his club. The reporter then told Trump that the restaurant serves “the Lord’s chicken,” prompting Trump to agree and add that “it’s good chicken, too.”
The former president was also seen talking with other customers, hugging one person who was very happy to meet him.
