A new ad released by former President Donald Trump's 2024 campaign blasted Hillary Clinton as a “genius” for "brainwashing" voters to reelect President Joe Biden.

The new advertisement portrays Clinton’s praise of Biden as a manipulation tactic, using a comment the former secretary of state and 2016 Democratic nominee made earlier this month about supporters of Trump.

"With Trump taking a commanding lead and Bidenomics hurting American families, genius Hillary Clinton has come up with a way for Biden to win," the ad states.

“There needs to be a formal deprogramming of the cult members,” the ad clips Clinton from a CNN interview that aired on Oct. 6. The cult members Clinton was referring to were "MAGA" extremists, and in the same interview, she predicted Trump will become the 2024 GOP presidential nominee but will be defeated by Biden.

In the black and white ad, the phrase “deprogramming of the cult members” repeats itself while people line up robotically to be “deprogrammed” to support Biden and forget about Trump. Phrases like “Pay attention” and “Joe Biden will defeat him,” followed by “Forget Trump,” are yelled out to the people in line.

“This did not happen,” the audio says while showing a video of Biden falling while boarding Air Force One at Joint Base Andrews in March 2021.

Finally, a woman shows a clip from a speech from Trump in which he says, “To American workers watching their take-home pay shrink and watching inflation destroy their family and their lives. To all of you. I have your back.” The visuals switch from black and white to color and cut to a Trump rally.

In 2016, Clinton won the popular vote comfortably but lost the Electoral College to Trump. Clinton has said she is all in on Biden’s reelection bid, touting Biden’s accomplishments in interviews.
