NextImg:Trump attacks Senate Republicans for not calling out Biden for alleged bribery scheme

Former President Donald Trump lashed out at Republican leaders in the Senate on Monday morning for not being tough enough on President Joe Biden following revelations from the House.

Trump claimed the recent news from the House, which includes an alleged bribery scheme involving Biden and his son Hunter Biden, has "proven" the administration is corrupt and should be rebuked by conservative Senate leadership.

TRUMP'S FEUDS WITH GOP GOVERNORS A DISTRACTION FOR HIM IN THE 2024 PRIMARY RACE

“Joe Biden is the most corrupt President in the history of the United States, which is being undeniably proven in the House of Representatives every single day,” Trump said on Truth Social. “But with all of these horrible revelations and facts, why hasn’t Republican ‘leadership’ in the Senate spoken up and rebuked Crooked Joe Biden and the Radical Left Democrats, Fascists, and Marxists for their criminal acts against our Country, some of them against me. How long does America have to wait for the Senate to ACT?”

Many state Republican parties made changes to their rules ahead of the 2020 election by adding more winner-take-all contests and requiring candidates to earn higher percentages of the vote to claim any delegates. Those changes all benefit a frontrunner, a position Trump has held despite his mounting legal peril, blame for his party's lackluster performance in the 2022 elections and the turbulent years of his presidency. House Republicans have been holding hearings in recent months over the alleged corruption in the administration, which includes the release of an FBI document that details the alleged bribery scheme. According to the FD-1023 form, which was released by Sen. Chuck Grassley (R-IA), both Bidens were allegedly paid $5 million by the head of the Ukrainian energy company Burisma while Joe Biden was vice president to pressure the Ukrainian government to fire Viktor Shokin, a prosecutor who was allegedly investigating the company.

Hunter Biden is also being investigated and charged with two misdemeanor fraud charges, which he is expected to plead guilty to. The plea has sparked a deeper investigation into the politicization of the Justice Department after two whistleblowers from the Internal Revenue Service claimed the DOJ prevented them from interviewing Hunter Biden, blocked their access to the younger Biden’s infamous laptop, and allowed the statute of limitation to run out on more tax charges than what he plans to plead guilty to.

The Biden administration has denied any wrongdoing.
