President Donald Trump threatened to terminate Elon Musk’s federal contracts amid a growing rift between the two.
A bubbling feud between Trump and Musk exploded on Thursday, when the two bashed each other publicly. Trump escalated the fight after Musk took credit for the president’s 2024 victory, saying he ordered him to leave the White House rather than the amicable separation both had previously claimed. The commander-in-chief also threatened to terminate Musk’s government contracts.
