Last month, Fox News announced it would be parting ways with Carlson. "We thank him for his service to the network as a host and prior to that as a contributor," a spokesperson said at the time.
Following his exit, Carlson announced that he would be hosting a new show on Twitter, which notably features billionaire Elon Musk at its helm. "Starting soon, we'll be bringing a new version of the show we've been doing for the last 6 1/2 years to Twitter. We bring some other things too, which we'll tell you about," he said in a video on the platform.
