Incoming border czar Tom Homan vowed to clean up the city of Chicago once President-elect Donald Trump is inaugurated, saying he would “prove” to Mayor Brandon Johnson how much his city needs his help.
Homan was met by requests from Vashon Tuncle, a Chicago resident, to “please come clean up Chicago,” adding that Homan was better than the Chicago mayor himself at listening to complaints from city residents on the topic of illegal immigrants. In response, Homan stated he had visited Chicago two weeks ago, during which he saw how Tuncle is right in arguing “the mayor sucks” and how city officials are not protecting its citizens from illegal immigrants.
“So look, I made a promise two weeks ago that I’d be back, and I will be back,” Homan said on Fox News’s The Ingraham Angle. “When this operation starts, I’ll be in Chicago, and the men and women of ICE are going to be on the streets doing their job, so I appreciate your support.”
Homan added that he has met with multiple people across Chicago, including black pastors and community leaders, all of whom are “on the same page.” He then claimed that Johnson is the only person not on board in opposing illegal immigration and that he would “prove” to the mayor that the city would become safer “with or without his help.”

Trump’s incoming border czar was also on The Tucker Carlson Show in a new episode released on Wednesday during which he argued Joe Biden was the only president he has worked under who has taken steps to “unsecure the border.” He claimed that Biden did this for “political benefit,” arguing the Democrats see illegal immigrants as future Democratic voters.
Which government has killed more Americans: Iran or Mexico? Tom Homan is the new border czar and he knows the answer.

During Homan’s trip to Chicago last week, he also delivered a speech knocking Gov. J.B. Pritzker (D-IL), in addition to Johnson, stating, “Your mayor sucks and your governor sucks.” He also told the mayor to “get the hell out of my way” if he is uninterested in helping him, a warning he has issued to many others.
