NextImg:Todd and Julie Chrisley slated to end prison sentence sooner than expected

Reality television stars Todd and Julie Chrisley will have shortened prison sentences from the time they began in January.

Husband Todd was sentenced to 12 years and wife Julie to seven years, in addition to a 16-month probation after the pair were found guilty last summer of conspiracy to commit bank fraud, bank fraud, conspiracy to defraud the United States, and tax fraud. Julie was additionally convicted of wire fraud and obstruction of justice.

Now, Todd's release date will be Jan. 22, 2033, two years shorter than his original sentence per prison records. Julie's release will fall on Oct. 19, 2028, which is one year and three months ahead of schedule.

Judge Eleanor Ross initially ruled that Todd would spend his sentence at the minimum-security Federal Prison Camp in Pensacola and Julie would spend hers at the low-security Federal Correctional Institution in Tallahassee. While the couple is from Georgia, the proximity of both facilities will allow their visitors to see them both within a day, according to their other lawyer.

"Without a doubt, Todd and Julie are model incarcerated individuals who received exorbitant sentences," Jay Surgent, the pair's attorney, told Insider.

The married couple subsequently had their reality show and its spin-offs canceled as a result of their respective convictions.
