Several high-profile Republicans are on the guest list for a fundraiser for Sen. Tim Kaine's (D-VA) GOP challenger, Scott Parkinson.
Parkinson, who is the vice president of government affairs at the influential conservative organization Club for Growth, is running to unseat Kaine in 2024.

According to an invite shared to social media, guests will include Sen. Mike Lee (R-UT), former Sen. Jim DeMint, Reps. Andy Biggs (R-AZ), Lauren Boebert (R-CO), Byron Donalds (R-FL), Anna Paulina Luna (R-FL), Thomas Massie (R-KY), and Chip Roy (R-TX), and Never Back Down super PAC founder Ken Cuccinelli, among several others.

Never Back Down is notably the super PAC supporting Gov. Ron DeSantis's (R-FL) still-unannounced candidacy in the 2024 presidential election. DeSantis is widely expected to launch a campaign in the summer.
Two of DeSantis's three endorsements in the House of Representatives — Massie and Roy — are also on the list.
However, many of the GOP power player invitees include those who have already extended their support to former President Donald Trump in his 2024 campaign.
Biggs, Boebert, Donalds, Luna, Rep. Eli Crane (R-AZ), Rep. Mary Miller (R-IL), Rep. Josh Brecheen (R-OK), and Rep. Barry Moore (R-AL) are invited, and they have all also endorsed Trump for 2024.
Another notable guest is Corey Lewandowski, who managed Trump's successful first presidential campaign up until June 2016.
Despite serving as chief of staff to then-Rep. DeSantis and deputy executive director of his transition team after being elected governor of Florida, Parkinson has made it clear that he won't be taking sides in the Republican presidential primary.
"I'm planning to remain neutral in the presidential race," he told the Washington Examiner.
"My focus is on defeating Tim Kaine and helping a GOP nominee defeat Joe Biden. I will support whoever wins the GOP nomination and campaign hard alongside them to win in 2024," Parkinson continued.

So far, the U.S. Senate candidate for Virginia boasts endorsements from Lee, Rep. Jim Banks (R-IN), who also endorsed Trump, DeMint, Donalds, Boebert, and Rep. Jason Smith (R-MO).
According to the Cook Political Report, Kaine's seat is considered solidly Democratic.
