Much has been made of the promotion of gender ideology in schools. It's a horrifying occurrence that can harm students irreparably, solely because of teachers' loyalty and dedication to a toxic political ideology.

About a year ago, I wrote about how schools recruit students in elementary school to brainwash them into becoming the newest foot soldiers of the transgender propaganda army. Today, I am writing about how schools encourage children to transition and then hide that information from parents.

There's only one way to say this: teachers are helping turn schools into transgender indoctrination cults.

Pennsylvania's Greater Johnstown School District recently announced a "gender transition plan" for students, Spencer Lindquist reported . The plan would not require consent or knowledge of a student's parents. The school district would be able to initiate irreversible medical processes that could forever change a student's health and welfare, resulting in irreparable damage and devastating consequences.

In the last decade or so, school districts have decided to ditch education, engage in indoctrination, and, quite literally, play the role of God in students' lives. They are taking control of parenting rights away from parents to align with their political orthodoxy. This extreme and toxic activism, disguised as sympathy, crosses personal lines to assert authority that no school administrator should ever have. Teachers and administrators have no business imposing their morality on students suffering mental health crises.

Consider the text of the school district's actual policy : "The goal in all cases is to strive for consensus between parents/guardians and student as to the application of this policy," the policy reads. "However, in general, the prerogative to assert the rights of the transgender and gender expansive student belongs to the student and does not require additional parent/guardian consent unless the assertion of a right delineated in these guidelines implicates parental/guardian rights under the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act or other applicable law."

Moreover, the school district's policy encourages staff to be deceptive when interacting with the parents of children they are convincing to transition. It instructs staff to use their legal name "and pronoun" when conversing with a student's mother and father.

"When contacting the parents/guardians of any student, school personnel should use the student's legal name and the pronoun corresponding to the student's gender assigned at birth unless the student or parent/guardian has specified otherwise," the policy reads.

Another report surfaced yesterday detailing how a school district in Colorado also focused on deceiving parents about children transitioning. Leaked documents from Jefferson County School District showed that school counsels focused on purposely hiding gender transitions from parents, according to Fox News. A school counselor in the district, Leslie Mecca, was quoted in an email about teachers in her school being uneasy about not telling parents if their students were transitioning.

"In one grade we have about 10 students who identify as a different name and pronoun. They ask teachers to call them by their preferred name and pronouns and our teachers do so. However, our teachers are concerned with parents not knowing. The question is whether as a school we have a due diligence to inform parents," Mecca said in an email to the district's equity office . "In my opinion and from what I have gathered from diversity and LGBTQIA trainings is that … it is detrimental if we 'out' them to their parents. So, we call them by their preferred pronouns and names at school and if parents do not know ... we call them by their given name to parents? Can you please provide advice?"

It is indicative of how powerful and influential the transgender lobby and its indoctrination program have become. The school district's policy is sheer madness, and it isn't normal or right. They are stealing children's souls and childhoods.

This is how dangerous the Left has become. Their thoughts have progressed into what should be considered criminal actions. Any school district, school, or teacher enabling a student's transition without notifying and consulting their parents should be charged with child abuse by law enforcement.
