The View has excused President Joe Biden's reported anger issues, claiming he is "allowed to get mad."

The hosts of the talk show were discussing a recent report that the president has a short temper and often lashes out at officials of all ranks in his administration behind the scenes.

WALL OF WASTE: BIDEN ENDING TRUMP WALL LEAVES BORDER RANCHER WITH FIELD OF 'RUSTING' STEEL

"Imagine waking up being President Biden," said host Sara Haines. "You're too old still, the economy sucks, the border's open, right? Your son's a mess, what about that grandchild you don't claim? He broke royal protocol with King Charles, like every way he turns, he does something wrong. He is allowed to get mad."

Fellow host Whoopi Goldberg also excused the report, saying that Biden is "a regular guy." Goldberg also denied host Joy Behar's claim that Biden is "a mild-mannered sweet guy," with Goldberg saying that Biden has "dropped more f-bombs than I have."

The report, released on Monday, detailed that the 80-year-old president's interrogations of staff are so common and indiscriminate that they've become known as "stump the chump" or "stump the dummy."

The president's apparent temper is relatively unknown to the public, though some of his aides believe it might be to his benefit to show this side of himself. This, in their opinion, might fend off criticism that he is too old and isn't pulling the strings in the White House.

Biden's reported anger outbursts come as he is running for reelection in 2024. In regards to a potential rematch between Biden and former President Donald Trump, The View host Alyssa Farah Griffin described such a matchup as "the rematch from hell" and said she wanted "anyone to come in and be inspiring and hopeful."

The tales of Biden's anger behind closed doors shed light on incidents in public that seemed rather out of character for the chief executive. For example, in January of 2022, a microphone picked up the president calling Fox News's Peter Doocy a "stupid son of a b****" after being asked about inflation.
