The View criticized Rep. Lauren Boebert (R-CO) over her recent behavior at a theater in Colorado, arguing her actions were hypocritical to the stances she has advocated in Congress.
Boebert was ejected from a Beetlejuice: The Musical performance at the Denver Center for the Performing Arts with a male companion last week, with patrons saying they were being disruptive and vaping during the performance. The View co-host also stated that Boebert and her companion were being physically intimate during the performance, which the other co-hosts claimed was hypocritical to do in a children's theater, as Boebert has argued that drag queen performances for children in the past are not age appropriate.

"The problem is hypocrisy," co-host Ana Navarro said. "The hypocrisy, the hypocrisy of it all. Lauren Boebert, we have a montage of some of the stuff she's been saying because she's a staunch supporter of children. God forbid a child see the fake boobies of a drag queen. Apparently, the boobies of a trash queen are OK."
Alyssa Farah Griffin, another co-host, noted that Boebert won reelection in her district in the 2022 midterm elections by only 546 votes and that she could lose her party's primary election for 2024. Boebert, should she win the primary, faces the same opponent she had in 2022, Adam Frisch, who has "a whole lot more money this time," Griffin said.
"So if you are in Colorado, or you're outside of Colorado, and you want NRA Barbie out of there, go to his website and donate," Navarro added.
Frisch has also taken note of Boebert's recent behavior, claiming that her "track record of embarrassing her constituents" and "failing to do her job" is why she will lose reelection come 2024.

Boebert initially disputed reports that she had been vaping at the show, and her campaign team denied the accusations by saying there were heavy fog machines and electronic cigarettes being used by other attendees that may have led to a misunderstanding. She has since admitted to vaping during the show and apologized for her disruptive behavior.
The congresswoman also said she is "known for having an animated personality" and was having "a fantastic time" attending the performance. In a statement released on Friday, Boebert said none of her actions during the play "were intended to be malicious or meant to cause harm" and that she regrets that they did.
