Fewer than 48 hours after more than a quarter-million pro-Israel protesters staged a stunning and peaceful gathering, reportedly the largest pro-Israel gathering in history and the largest gathering of Jews since Mount Sinai, the second shoe dropped. The pro-Hamas harem of intersectional oppression Olympians, outright bigoted Islamists, and trust fund slacktivists coalesced on the Democratic National Committee headquarters in a demonstration that devolved into, shall we say, a proper insurrection.
Of the 300 protesters organizers claimed were at the DNC on Wednesday night, 150 were described as "illegally and violently protesting," according to U.S. Capitol Police.

"When the group moved dumpsters in front of the exits, pepper sprayed our officers and attempted to pick up the bike rack, our teams quickly introduced consequences – pulling people off the building, pushing them back, and clearing them from the area, so we could safely evacuate the Members and staff," Capitol Police said in a press release on Thursday. "Six officers were treated for injuries, from minor cuts to being pepper sprayed to being punched. 24-year old Ruben Arthur Camacho of Woodbridge, NY, was arrested for Assault on a Police Officer after an officer witnessed Camacho slam another officer into a garage door and then punch the female officer in the face."
Don't just take the police's word for it. Brad Sherman, one of the California Democrats evacuated during the emergency, also testified that contrary to the assertion of the "protesters," the anti-Israel rioters were indeed pepper-spraying police officers. To be clear, these were rioters attempting to breach the headquarters of a major, nearly 200-year-old political party while it housed House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries (D-NY). The New York Democrat is not just the first black American to lead a party in either chamber of Congress; thanks to the fratricidal fracas of House Republicans, who are keen to suicide their own chamber leadership at any moment, Jeffries is also one Republican food fight away from taking the speakership and thus the second place in the line of presidential succession. While the scale of the DNC riot may have been smaller than the Jan. 6 storming of the Capitol, the methods and motivations of the assailants were similar.
As with Jan. 6, it's up for debate whether the DNC debacle constituted an actual attempt at an insurrection. But it is nonnegotiable that between the two demonstrations of the week — nearly 300,000 strong peacefully marching for Israel, democracy, and the humanity of Jews versus the jackbooted thugs who consider the only good Jew the Jew that lays down his weapons to die — there is zero comparison.
