A Pennsylvania high school student was arrested in Texas after making a false bomb threat against an American Airlines flight Friday at El Paso International Airport.
Authorities responded to the airport after they were contacted about a bomb threat against American Airlines Flight 205, an outbound flight headed to Chicago with 125 passengers and eight crew members, according to a report.

While the flight was conducting its taxi process, a message was received by passengers via AirDrop that read, "I have a bomb and would like to share a photo."
The flight returned to its gate, and the person responsible for the threat was identified and later confessed to sending the message.
Bomb squad officials searched the plane, luggage, and passengers before deeming the threat noncredible and seizing a phone belonging to the teenager, according to the report.
The teenager had been in Texas along with a group from Pittsburgh's Central Catholic High School as part of an annually sponsored mission trip.
El Paso had been selected to teach the students about the immigration crisis, the report noted.
