


Supreme Court Chief Justice John Roberts did not announce that Friday would be the last day of opinions, so the court’s several remaining opinions will continue into next week.
Originally, Wednesday was set to be the last day opinions would be released, but the site has now been updated to include Thursday and Friday as opinion days. After the three opinions released Thursday, the court still needs to decide on former President Donald Trump’s immunity case and almost a dozen others.

The court announced opinions Thursday that included allowing emergency abortions in Idaho, limiting the powers of the Securities and Exchange Commission, rejecting Purdue Pharma’s $6 billion opioid settlement, and striking down the Environmental Protection Agency’s “good neighbor” pollution rule.
