Summer begins on Friday, and left-wing organizations are vowing to be vocal and in the streets.
Various groups with allegiance to the Democratic Party plan to maintain the “No Kings” messaging while also targeting corporate America. Boycotts and more demonstrations at Tesla dealerships on Elon Musk’s birthday are among the planned disruptions.

“We’ve tried the warnings, we’ve tried patience, we’ve tried asking politely, and they are not listening,” John Schwarz, founder of the People’s Union USA, said in a video posted on social media.
Here is what organizations are planning:
June
A McDonald‘s boycott is scheduled from June 24-30. The fast food chain has been criticized for its buyback of franchises in Israel amid the Israel–Palestine conflict and its rollback of diversity, equity, and inclusion programs.
One of the organizations behind the “No Kings” protests, Not Above the Law, will host another demonstration targeting Immigration and Customs Enforcement as it works to remove illegal immigrants from the country. The “Disappeared in America Visual Action” protest will rally against what the organization calls “illegal abductions,” such as the case of Mahmoud Khalil, a Columbia University student whose detainment and attempted deportation by the Trump administration have sparked backlash.
Another “Tesla Takedown” is planned for June 28, Musk‘s birthday, because “Musk must fall.”
“Elon Musk is done at DOGE, but we’re just getting started,” the protest organizers said on Action Network’s website. They urged people to sell off their Tesla stock and vehicles.
July
Starbucks, Amazon, and Home Depot will also be targeted by boycotts for promoting conservative values. Starbucks was criticized for its silence on the Israel-Palestine conflict, and Amazon and Home Depot were both targeted because of their rollback of DEI.
On July 4, the People’s Union USA planned an economic blackout during which protesters will only spend money at local businesses.
‘NO KINGS’ ORGANIZERS PLAN NEXT PROTEST: ‘GOOD TROUBLE LIVES ON’
Another day of action, July 17, was coined “Good Trouble Lives On” as a tribute to former Democratic Georgia Rep. John Lewis’s words, “Get in good trouble, necessary trouble, and help redeem the soul of America.”
August
More economic boycotts will be held throughout August. Walmart, Lowe’s, and a second boycott of McDonald’s are planned according to a post by Liberal Resistance on Bluesky.
