


The first round of Social Security payments, worth up to $4,555, will be sent out to millions in 13 days. The Social Security Administration sends out payments on the second, third, and fourth Wednesdays of each month.
The first round of payments will be released on Nov. 8, and they will be for those born between the first and 10th of their birth month. The second payment will be released Nov. 15 to people born between the 11th and 20th of a month. The last group, born on or after the 21st, receives theirs on Nov. 22.

The amount of money varies based on the age at which an individual retired and has no income guidelines. For example, those who retire at 62, the youngest age to possibly receive payments, can get up to $2,572 per month, while those who retired at 70 can receive up to $4,555 per month, according to the Social Security Administration.
Those who retire at the full age of retirement, 67, can see a maximum check of up to $3,627 per month.

The SSA issued payments twice in September, a rare double payment that replaced October's payment. Most months only see one check on the first, but two SSI checks go out during March, June, September, and December in 2023.
Recipients receive a payment early if the designated payment date falls on a weekend or holiday. Beneficiaries can access their Social Security benefits online.
