Former President Donald Trump was interviewed by social media influencer and WWE wrestling champion Logan Paul’s podcast Impaulsive.
The appearance was advertised on a social media clip earlier this week. Trump and Paul met face-to-face in what initially appeared to be a tense standoff, similar to how fighters face off in promotions before their bouts. After a few seconds, Trump and Paul both smiled, laughed, and hugged each other.
Before the podcast interview, Trump presented Paul with a MAGA baseball cap and a t-shirt featuring a picture of Trump’s infamous mugshot.
The interview covered various topics, including Trump discussing his court cases and recent convictions. The former president claimed that the court cases were part of a weaponized justice system against him.
He also explained why he decided to run for president a third time and what he hopes to accomplish in his second term, should he win in November. Trump, Paul, and Impaulsive co-host Mike Majlak also discussed the upcoming presidential debate with Joe Biden on June 27.
Trump also shared his opinions about President Joe Biden.
“Biden is just so bad,” Trump said. “He is the worst president in the history of our country.”
“You should make a diss track on him,” Paul interjected humorously.
“Yeah, we’ll do something,” Trump replied.
Trump was also asked if he had changed his opinion on any of the networks that have been hostile to him since he’s been a politician.
“Do you think that you’re starting to soften your views on some of the networks that you may have not gotten along with in the past?” inquired Majlak.
“No,” Trump said. “They are fake news.”
Several pop culture issues were discussed, such as Taylor Swift and hip-hop battles between Drake and Kendrick Lamar. They also conversed about Trump’s feelings about Elon Musk.
“He’s a spectacular guy,” Trump said about the SpaceX CEO.
They also chatted about the possibility of extraterrestrial life. Trump expressed skepticism on the existence of actual aliens – other than the illegal aliens crossing the border.
“Am I a believer? No. I probably can’t say I am,” Trump said on the possibility of aliens. “I’ve never been convinced. I know there are illegal aliens out there, but those are the ones that come through the border. We have plenty of them.”

Trump, Paul, and Majlak also discussed the emergence of artificial intelligence and the possibilities and concerns about the future that the technology raises. Both Paul and Trump agreed that AI was cool but also alarming.
“It is very disconcerting,” Trump said. “It is alarming. When I saw a picture of me promoting a product, and I could not tell, the voice was perfect, the lips moved perfectly with every word. If you were a lip reader, you’d say it’s absolutely perfect. And that’s scary…”
