"My AI experienced a temporary outage that's now resolved," a Snapchat spokesperson explained.
As a result, the phrase "delete Snapchat" was searched more the next day than ever on Google, increasing by 1,239% worldwide. On Thursday, searches continued to increase from the week before.
Every "My AI" account can differ slightly per user, allowing for customization. The same picture being posted to the account's story raised discussion about privacy online.
