NextImg:'Shouldn't this be illegal?': Viral video of Dunkin' customer reveals eye-popping sugar count in pumpkin spice drink

Bobby Parrish, healthy eating TikTok influencer and creator of the popular YouTube channel FlavCity, shared shocking sugar amounts of a popular fall-themed coffee drink in a viral video this week.

Parrish approached his phone camera holding a Pumpkin Swirl Frozen Coffee while at a Dunkin' restaurant.

He started the video questioning the choice of Dunkin' to add this frozen coffee drink to the menu as he laid out the nutritional information about the drink.

"This drink has 185 grams of sugar in it,” the social media influencer said as he held up a nutrition sheet of the drink.

He further emphasized the sugar intake by pouring 48 teaspoons of sugar into a clear Dunkin' cup.

Parrish then opened a box of a dozen glazed Dunkin' donuts.

"To give you another perspective, the amount of sugar in there is equal to 14 glazed donuts," he said.

The cooking show host tore into the accuracy of the pumpkin spice ingredient in the coffee drink by underlining the "artificial flavor" ingredients.

"There's 12 mentions of sugar and high fructose syrup in here," he explained.

He added, "There are 930 calories and 194 carbs. Two-thirds of us are already Type 2 diabetic and prediabetic. If America runs on this, we are already f***ed."

One TikTok user called Parrish "legendary" for doing his breakdown of the Dunkin' drink's ingredients while sitting inside a Dunkin' restaurant.

Another social media user pushed back on his critique, saying, "If you don’t like it- don’t drink it."

"I just gained 10 lb listening to this," a commenter on his TikTok post said.
