Mark Cuban has no plans to run for the White House next year.

Cuban is best known for co-hosting the reality TV show Shark Tank, and as the longtime owner of the Dallas Mavericks. However, in the last few days, Cuban stated he would leave Shark Tank following the show's 16th season. The next day, reports surfaced that Cuban planned to sell a majority of his stake in the Mavericks to fellow billionaire Miriam Adelson.

As the billionaire began announcing major life changes, questions began to arise on whether he was planning to enter the 2024 presidential race. However, Cuban told the Washington Examiner in an email, "I'm not running."

Instead, Cuban plans to focus on his online pharmacy company, which aims to provide those in need with low-cost medications.

Cuban has made his views on politics no secret, as he stated earlier this year that it is "good business" for businesses to play a role in the political sphere because consumers want to purchase goods from companies "that care about their customers."

The 2024 election will be held on Nov. 5 next year, with President Joe Biden running for reelection. Former President Donald Trump is leading the Republican Party's primary race for president, setting the stage for a potential rematch between him and Biden.
