The Republican National Committee announced it would begin rolling out its early voting initiative in Wisconsin, the first step in convincing Republicans nationwide to vote early in the 2024 election.
The “Bank Your Vote” campaign, initially announced last month, aims to educate GOP voters on how to “bank as many votes as possible before Election Day,” according to its website. These educational efforts led by the RNC include both absentee voting and in-person early voting.

RNC Chairwoman Ronna McDaniel tweeted on Monday that the Republican Party will focus on supporting early voting measures in Wisconsin, a key battleground state in national elections.
“To beat Joe Biden and Democrats like Tammy Baldwin in 2024, we must ensure that Republicans bank as many pre-Election Day votes as possible,” McDaniel said.

McDaniel also said the RNC is planning to work with Republican leaders from the state, including Sen. Ron Johnson (R-WI), Chairman of the Republican Party of Wisconsin Brian Schimming, and Rep. Derrick Van Orden (R-WI).
Wisconsin is the first state to receive the "Bank Your Vote" treatment as the Republican Party seeks to partner with state parties and campaigns to outline early voting processes for 56 states and territories.

The educational initiative marks the party’s strategic shift in gaining more votes as GOP officials prepare for the 2024 election. Before this, the Republican Party often decried the Democratic Party’s use of early voting procedures, such as ballot harvesting and mail-in ballots, in 2020.
The "Bank Your Vote" website will feature a state-specific voter resource page for Wisconsin, McDaniel said.
