President Joe Biden and former President Donald Trump will meet for a debate Thursday for the first time since 2020. One of the first things Trump should do is call out Biden for the lies and misinformation he told during the 2020 debate about his son Hunter Biden’s laptop, which Biden said didn’t exist and was a “Russian plant.”
This is the same Biden, mind you, who went throughout the country in 2020 on the campaign trail calling Trump a liar and claiming that presidents shouldn’t lie to the people of the country. Lies are permissible just so long as they come from Joe Biden.
For those who may not remember, during the 2020 presidential debates, Trump went after Biden over corruption pointing to Hunter’s laptop. As the moderator prepared to move on to another topic, Biden interrupted and demanded that he respond to Trump’s comments about the computer.
“There are 50 former national intelligence folks who said what he’s accusing me of is a Russian plant,” Biden said at the time. “They have said that this has all the — four, five former heads of the CIA, both parties, say what he’s saying is a bunch of garbage. Nobody believes it except him and his good friend Rudy Giuliani.”
“You mean the laptop is another Russia, Russia, Russia hoax?” Trump interrupted.
“That’s exactly what we’ve [been] told,” Biden replied.
But all of it was a lie. All of it. Biden’s comments, the claims the laptop was a Russian plant, and the 50 former intelligence officials and heads of the CIA. It speaks volumes of the credibility and honesty of the nation’s intelligence community and the depths to which they will go to lie and deceive the public. In this very instant, as history would later show, Trump’s accusations and Biden’s response revealed the country’s substantial corruption. It was all unearthed because the nation’s elite did everything possible for Trump to lose the election.
There are many red flags here, from Biden’s deception to the willing accomplices of the intelligence community’s aristocracy that misled the public. All of them were lying, and none were ever held accountable.

Biden weaponized lying to win an election. He was aided by intelligence officials who had an obligation to be honest with the public. All the conversations and comments about Trump’s so-called lying should be considered worthless until someone, anyone, is held accountable for these laptop comments. Biden knew all along the laptop existed. He just did everything possible to hide it from the voters.
Before making any other comments during the debate tonight, Trump should start by repeating what Biden said nearly four years ago and then ask the rhetorical question, “How can any American trust you, Mr. President, when you have already shown you will go to great lengths to lie and deceive this country’s voters when it benefits you?”
