<a href="http://washingtonexaminer.com/tag/republican-party" target="_blank" rel="noopener" title="">Republicans</a> have made several changes to their party platform after electing not to make any alterations in 2020.

Former President <a href="http://washingtonexaminer.com/tag/donald-trump/" target="_blank" rel="noopener" title="">Donald Trump</a> had a heavy hand in crafting the new platform, which softens the GOP’s position on calling for a national <a href="http://washingtonexaminer.com/tag/abortion/" target="_blank" rel="noopener" title="">abortion</a> ban and removes the language about “traditional marriage” being between “one man and one woman.”
