Shiri Bibas, 32 (murdered in captivity with her baby boy and toddler). Naama Levy, 21 (raped and held hostage for a year and three months in Gaza). Danielle Waldman, 24 (she and her boyfriend, along with three friends, attempted to escape the Nova Music Festival in a car and were riddled with bullets by Hamas fighters).
You likely don’t know their names, and it isn’t even fully your fault. They didn’t get much media attention despite being held hostage, murdered, or raped by Hamas terrorists.

You’ll probably know the names of Bella Hadid and Dua Lipa. What did these outspoken celebrities have to say about the atrocities of Oct. 7, 2023?
Model Bella Hadid often uses her social media platforms to post anti-Israel screeds and pro-Palestinian fodder for her fans. She’s also attended protests wearing the scarf of terrorists.
Singer Dua Lipa also loves some conspiracy theories about Israel, such as claiming that all Israeli Jews are “fake Jews” and that the Israeli military created Hamas so it could kill people. She was rumored to have fired her Jewish agent for his pro-Israel views, and she loves accusing the Israeli military of “burning children alive.”
These famous feminists have said nothing, or nothing productive, regarding the hostages held by Hamas.
Remember all of the media attention celebrities and former first lady Michelle Obama garnered circa 2014 for simply posting “bring back our girls,” referring to the tragedy of Boko Haram stealing almost 300 young girls from their homes in Nigeria? The country is still in turmoil and experiencing massive assaults on those of the Christian faith. Some would even call the persecution of Christians there a real genocide.
Today, celebrities have chosen to focus on the Israel-Hamas conflict, and only one side of it. For two years, we’ve heard cries demanding an immediate ceasefire from campus protests to red carpet events. My favorite was when Hannah Einbinder, an openly bisexual actress from HBO’s Hacks, called for a ceasefire on stage at the 2025 Emmy awards ceremony, and a Hamas-associated news network loved it — except for the fact that she was immodestly dressed. So it blurred the picture it posted to make sure her shoulders weren’t exposed. I still wonder if she knows that Hamas targets and kills people like her in Gaza.
If you follow any celebrity on social media, have watched any morning show that interviews them, have attended a concert, or have checked out a red carpet event over the past two years, you’ve almost certainly seen celebrities call for a ceasefire. You’ve heard them shout “Free Palestine!” You’ve heard them lament the “genocide” of women and children and the unjust destruction of private and public property.
Well, they got their wish. And now that a ceasefire is here: crickets. No rejoicing from the self-proclaimed feminists that the women and children of Gaza are now safe from war. There is no cheering about a “genocide” ending overnight — the quickest turnaround in history for a genocide ending, by the way.
There is no celebration that women and children in Gaza can return to their homes. There is no fundraising happening for the Red Cross or the United Nations, which should be able to freely provide medical aid and food to the starving people of Gaza now that the Israeli military is out of the way.
There is no celebration of the unlikely alliance of Egypt, Turkey, Qatar, and Israel bringing what is hopefully a lasting peace to the Middle East. No celebration of a peace deal that will likely save the lives of thousands, if not millions, of innocent people.
There has been no celebration because it was never about a ceasefire. It was about hating the only democracy in the Middle East where Christians, Jews, and Muslims can live in peace. It was about the hatred of a Jewish state. It was about playing the victim and making Israel the bad guy.
ALL LIVING ISRAELI HOSTAGES OFFICIALLY FREED FROM HAMAS CAPTIVITY
Are we really surprised, though? Consistency has never really been a thing for radicals on the Left. Remember, it’s “my body, my choice” unless it’s a vaccine leftists want to force on you. And celebrities are reliably anti-gun, except for when it comes to their bodyguards.
No, we shouldn’t be surprised that they are liars and hypocrites. My question is: What will be the next issue they latch on to now that they can no longer shout “ceasefire now”?
