Former President Donald Trump will no longer be able to pose for cameras in the New York City courtroom at the center of his hush money trial.

Due to a photographer violating a court order preventing photos from being taken of Trump from the aisle, Judge Juan Merchan has banned photography in court for the rest of the trial.

Outside video coverage inside the courtroom is already banned, as is custom for many high-profile trials, so there will not be any direct visual source inside the courtroom, other than secondhand accounts and drawings.

Some aren’t fans of the court drawings, which have now become crucial visual sources, released so far.

There have already been several photos taken of Trump and others in this trial.

Historic photos were also taken of Trump during his arraignment last year and were among the first ever taken of him in the Manhattan courtroom.

Some don’t agree with the lack of live media coverage.

“We’re the media capital of the world, we like to think, and the fact that cameras aren’t permitted in one of our three branches of government is unacceptable,” said Democratic New York state Sen. Brad Hoylman-Sigal, who sponsored a bill to try to change that.

“It’s one of the most consequential trials of our modern age,” the senator said. “I think the public has a right to see exactly what happens in that courtroom.”

Trump’s hush money trial continues on Thursday with more critical testimony from porn star Stormy Daniels — testimony that left Trump fuming on Tuesday and causing him to curse in court.

Those remarks were pointed out by Merchan, and he labeled them “contemptuous,” given they could intimidate those in the court.
