Investigators are entering their fifth day in the search for a Pennsylvania prisoner who escaped from jail last week and whom police describe as a "self-taught survivalist."
Michael Burham, 34, is on the run after escaping from jail in Warren, Pennsylvania. Burham was being held on $1 million bail related to burglary, kidnapping, and other charges. He is a suspect in a homicide investigation, according to police.

Police are used to lengthy manhunts where Burham is concerned. Here is a timeline of Burham's alleged crimes, his arrest, and his escape from custody.
May 11-22
On May 12, police in Jamestown, New York, identified a deceased woman as Kala Hodgkin, 34, a mother of three children. Her body was discovered the day before.
Police consider Burham as a "prime suspect" in Hodgkin's death. While fleeing capture from the authorities, Burham allegedly kidnapped a Pennsylvania couple and carjacked their vehicle on May 22.
Burham was eventually captured in South Carolina after leading investigators on a nearly two-week manhunt.
June 14
Burham appeared in federal court in Buffalo, New York, before being extradited to Pennsylvania to face kidnapping charges. Charges have not been filed in connection to Hodgkin's death.
He was eventually booked into Warren County Jail in Warren, Pennsylvania.
July 6
The 34-year-old prisoner escaped from Warren County Jail using exercise equipment and bedsheets to exit through the window.
Burham was last seen at 11:20 p.m. on Thursday.
July 7-8
The City of Warren Police released several photos of Burham on its Facebook page, alerting the community that Burham's whereabouts are unknown.
Residents were asked to review their residential and commercial security cameras from Thursday at 11:20 p.m. to Friday at 12:20 a.m. to see if they captured any footage of the escaped prisoner.
Police gave a description of his clothing, including a jail-issued blue denim coat and white and orange pants, but investigators believe he has since changed clothes. Burham has tattoos of large animals on his bicep and inner forearm.
Pennsylvania State Police assumed control of the manhunt on Saturday due to "geographical jurisdictions and resources as the search expands throughout the county and into areas" of New York.
"Burham is considered dangerous and should not be approached," Warren police said.
The U.S. Marshals announced a reward of up to $7,500 for information leading to Burham's capture, and Warren County Crime Stoppers is offering $2,000.
July 9-10
Investigators located campsites they believe are connected to Burham.
Lt. Col. George Bivens of the Pennsylvania State Police said that Burham is a "self-taught survivalist with military experience and could be potentially holed up in a wooded area near the city."

Bivens said police had located small campsites and stockpiles in the forest near the jail from where Warren escaped, prompting authorities to believe that he prepared to hide out in the woods.
At this time, investigators do not believe that Burham has left the general area.
