A New York City college professor with a history of lashing out at right-wing students held a machete to the throat of a reporter and told him she would "chop" him up.

Shellyne Rodriguez, who went viral earlier month after she cursed out and destroyed a display table put up by anti-abortion students, threatened a New York Post reporter with a machete when he knocked on the door of her Bronx apartment, the New York Post reported.

"Get the f*** away from my door or I'm gonna chop you up with this machete!" Rodriguez told reporter Reuven Fenton behind a closed door.

Mere moments after issuing the threat, Rodriguez stormed out and put the blade to Fenton's throat, according to now-viral footage posted to social media.

"Get the f*** away from my door!" she said emphatically. "Get the f*** away from my door!"

She then slammed the door in the reporter's face.

Fenton, who had supposedly gone to the apartment to ask about the incident with the anti-abortion students, appeared to maintain his composure and left the building with a New York Post photographer, according to the report.

They were followed outside by Rodriguez, who accosted them, the report noted.

"If I see you on this block one more fing time, you're gonna—” Rodriguez, armed with the machete, said. "Get the f off the block! Get the f*** out of here, yo!"

The professor reportedly chased the pair before reentering her building.

Hunter College spokesman Vince DiMiceli condemned the actions of the adjunct art professor.

"Hunter College strongly condemns the unacceptable actions of Shellyne Rodriguez and has taken immediate action," DiMiceli said. "Rodriguez has been relieved of her duties at Hunter College effective immediately, and will not be returning to teach at the school."

Tuesday's incident comes in the wake of Rodriguez's viral outburst on anti-abortion students after they had set up an information desk at Hunter College.

"You're not educating s***. This is f***ing propaganda," she told the students May 2. "What are you going to do, like, anti-trans next?"

"I mean, no, we're talking about abortion," one student replied.

"You can't even have a f***ing baby!" she yelled at him.

"The provost has opened an investigation into the professor’s actions," a representative for Hunter College said.
