Nancy Jacobson, the CEO of the centrist political organization No Labels, says the group has not made any decisions about who would be on its potential third-party ticket for the 2024 presidential election.
When asked on Fox News Channel's America's Newsroom on Monday if Sen. Joe Manchin (D-WV), one of the group's leaders in the Senate, could be a possible presidential pick for the proposed unity ticket, Jacobson said it is "too premature" to say.

"Listen, Joe Manchin, we met, he was at our lunch in 2010," she said. "He's the honorary co-chair with Senator Susan Collins of the organization and he is a terrific legislator and he stands for his politics. This is too premature, we have not made any decisions."
Manchin has not said whether he will run for reelection to his Senate seat in 2024, where he is expected to get a tough challenge from popular Gov. Jim Justice (R-WV). When asked about running for president, Manchin has not publicly ruled out a bid.
The West Virginia Democrat has been vague about his political future, putting out a statement saying he "will win any race I enter" after Justice announced his Senate bid. Manchin did not specify which race he would enter.
When Jacobson was pressed on the idea that No Labels running a third-party ticket could unintentionally throw the election to one of the major party candidates, she stated that the group would step back if it appeared they would act as a spoiler.
"Let me set the record straight. Our focus is if there is an opening where this ticket, is a unity ticket. This is one Republican, one Democrat walking into that White House in 2025, January, focused on the first 100 days for results for the American people. Finally getting results for the American people," Jacobson said.

"If it’s clear that they don’t want the choices and this is a winning ticket and we can win and not spoil, we are going to do it. If it looks for any reason like this will spoil it, we step down. We're not cowboys here, we're just people who want to give the Americans the choice, and they'll decide," she continued.
The group, motivated by low enthusiasm for a rematch between President Joe Biden and former President Donald Trump in 2024, has openly entertained the idea of running a third-party option next year. The group has said they would make their decision in April 2024, after Super Tuesday.
