The internal investigation into the recent crash of Alan Ruck's electric vehicle found nothing to indicate that his truck may have crashed due to a malfunction.
The Succession actor crashed his Rivian R1T electric pickup truck in a multi-car crash in Hollywood on Oct. 31, with Ruck's car then hitting a pizza shop. A spokesperson for Rivian said that after checking the data for Ruck's vehicle, the truck did not suffer a malfunction and worked as intended, according to TMZ.

Police have speculated that the truck's features ended up causing the crash, as one of its many features is being able to go from zero to 60 mph in almost an instant. Ruck was not under the influence or impaired in the crash, which has led police to search for other reasons why the crash occurred.
Rivian is fully cooperating with the police's investigation into the crash.
