Republican presidential candidate Nikki Haley is questioning President Joe Biden’s “love for his country.”

Haley’s criticism comes in light of Republican investigations into the Biden family’s business dealings and comments made on The View defending Hunter Biden’s presence at a recent state dinner.

“So is the love for his son greater than the love for his country? Because that’s what it looks like. It smells bad,” Haley told Fox News host Sandra Smith.

“Before you could say, ‘Oh maybe it was nothing.’ There is clearly something there. And there is clearly something that needs to be found out,” she continued. “This is about accountability, whether Republican or Democrat. We’ve got to have accountability.”

The former South Carolina governor and United States ambassador to the United Nations said investigation findings are indicating that Biden is “compromised.

“We can’t have a situation where we think a president is compromised. We can’t have a situation where we have a son going rogue, raising money, threatening or saying that he can get things that he can’t,” Haley added. “So, I think if the DOJ can’t handle this, I think Congress is right to go ahead and step forward.

“We’ve got to start taking these kinds of issues seriously, and we’ve got to bring ethics back to D.C.,” Haley added.

The Justice Department announced last week that it had reached a deal with President Joe Biden’s son related to tax crimes and the illegal purchase of a handgun while he was an illicit drug user.
