Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu wrote an op-ed in the Wall Street Journal on Tuesday, calling on nations around the world to decide where they stand, emphasizing that if "Hamas and Iran's axis of evil" prevail, they will target others next.

"It is a time for all of us to decide if we are willing to fight for a future of hope and promise or surrender to tyranny and terror," he wrote.

JOHNSON SPEAKERSHIP SPELLS TROUBLE FOR DEMOCRATS IN WASHINGTON SPENDING FIGHT

Following Hamas's initial terrorist attacks on Oct. 7 and subsequent taking of Israeli civilians and other foreign nationals as hostages, President Joe Biden has reiterated the United States's steadfast support of the Jewish state and its right to defend itself. However, Biden faces calls from a growing faction on the Left to call for a ceasefire between Israel and the terrorist organization.

This is advice Biden hasn't heeded and is unlikely to change his mind on. Nonetheless, Netanyahu made it clear that "just as the U.S. wouldn’t have agreed to a ceasefire after the bombing of Pearl Harbor or after the terrorist attack on 9/11, Israel will not agree to a cessation of hostilities with Hamas after the horrific attacks of Oct. 7."

White House national security adviser Jake Sullivan wouldn't say on Sunday whether Israel was conducting its offensive in the best possible way in terms of minimizing civilian casualties in Gaza. He, instead, reiterated that the U.S. continues to urge Israel to do everything it can to protect civilians.

Victory over Iran's "axis of terror" means making a "moral distinction between the deliberate murder of the innocent and the unintentional casualties that are the inevitable result of even the most just war," according to Netanyahu.

"It means not only making clear that the use of human shields is an immoral tactic of war, but making certain it is an ineffective one," he added, claiming the strategy will have been effective if Hamas wins.

Netanyahu further slammed the prospect of a ceasefire, explaining it amounts to a call "for Israel to surrender to Hamas, to surrender to terrorism, to surrender to barbarism. That will not happen."

Now, the prime minister wrote, it is "time for everyone to decide where they stand."

"Israel’s fight is your fight," he said. "If Hamas and Iran’s axis of evil win, you will be their next target."

No matter who supports or doesn't support, however, he claimed, "Israel will fight this battle until it is won."
