Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu advocated for President Donald Trump to receive as many as four Nobel Peace Prizes because the U.S. president is “working on every single corner of the Earth.”
Netanyahu announced he had officially nominated Trump to the Nobel Prize Committee amid meetings with Trump at the White House last week. The Israeli prime minister was the second foreign dignitary to nominate Trump this year, followed by the Pakistani government.

“If anyone deserves the Nobel Peace Prize, it’s President Trump, Netanyahu said on Fox News’s Life, Liberty, and Levin on Saturday. “First of all, he brokered with me the historic Abraham Accords in which Israel made peace with four Arab states. I think that deserves, maybe, four Nobel Prizes for him. Secondly, he’s actively working on every single corner of the Earth.”
Trump has been involved in negotiations between Rwanda and the Congo, along with India and Pakistan. The ceasefire agreed upon after three days of fighting between Pakistan and India prompted Pakistan to nominate Trump for the prize as well.
The Abraham Accords were signed by Trump, Netanyahu, United Arab Emirates Foreign Minister Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, and Bahrain Foreign Minister Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani in September 2020. This represented the first time an Arab country had recognized Israel as a nation since Jordan in 1994.
At the time, Netanyahu did not nominate Trump to the Nobel Prize committee. However, two others nominated Trump that year. Norwegian MP Christian Tybring-Gjedde and Swedish MP Magnus Jacobsson both cited the Abraham Accords as their reason to nominate Trump.
