Elon Musk’s America PAC awarded its first $1 million prize to a registered Wisconsin voter after he signed a petition against “activist judges.”
This petition comes as Wisconsin Supreme Court candidates Susan Crawford and Brad Schimel are set to face off on April 1. The winner will determine a liberal or conservative minority in the state’s highest court.

“Scott A. From Green Bay, WI is the first $1 Million spokesperson for signing our Petition In Opposition To Activist Judges,” the PAC wrote on X.
“Next million dollar award will be announced in 2 days,” Musk responded.
The petition Brad won the million dollars by signing reads, “Judges should interpret laws as written, not rewrite them to fit their personal or political agendas. By signing below, I’m rejecting the actions of activist judges who impose their own views and demanding a judiciary that respects its role — interpreting, not legislating.”
This April race is the most expensive state judge race in U.S. history, with over $59 million contributed to both sides.

Schimel received $13 million in campaign donations from groups funded by Tesla CEO Elon Musk. This connection became the main theme in Crawford’s recent campaign ad.
A Wisconsin circuit court denied a Tesla petition against Wisconsin to allow the electric vehicle manufacturer to have its own dealership in the state. Days after this ruling, Musk began publicly commenting on the Supreme Court race.
