Washington Examiner senior writer Joe Concha ripped Elon Musk for acting like a “petulant teenager” as the feud between the Tesla CEO and President Donald Trump continues to capture national attention.
“Elon Musk, let’s be blunt, has acted like a petulant teenager with an itchy Twitter finger over the past couple of days,” Concha said during an appearance on Fox Business’s Varney & Co.

“Musk does not live in the real world, Concha added. “The real world is where Donald Trump lives.”
Trump and Musk blasted each other across social media Thursday as their feud over the “big, beautiful bill” and EV mandates intensified.
Concha said the president knows the math for Congress required to pass his reconciliation bill.
“If you try to pass the kind of cuts that Musk wants, it will not pass in this bill,” he said. “So, Trump’s plan is to just do it in layers.”
“Big, Beautiful Bill, you have the mandatory cuts. Next bill are the discretionary cuts from DOGE, and then you go from there and get the wins,” Concha added. “Instead of trying to get it all in one, where, again, reality says, the math says, it would not pass what Elon Musk wants.”

Democrats and the left-wing media appear to be reveling in the feud’s fallout, but Concha slammed liberal lawmakers who are jumping in.
“When you called Elon Musk and Donald Trump ‘Nazis’ and ‘Hitler,’ to take the side of one of them looks pretty phony right now,” he said.
